Bookgasm: The Pajama Challenge - Day 4
Friday, August 17, 2012
Disclaimer: The sets do not show the exact descriptions but only interpretations or substitutes.
I like to apologize for the sudden postponement of this challenge days ago. I wasn't able to be consistent of doing it for consecutive days. You'll know that if you have been reading my previous posts.
Anyhow, as you also know, I have an obsession with lace (hence the title). It has that sophisticated and feminine feel we, women, love. I also chose pieces that will signify different personalities of women. First is the sweet and sassy girl. Second is the vintage babe. Third is the foxy lady and fourth is the sporty gal. For you to relate, I can put it this way by connecting them to the Pretty Little Liars cast. Trust me, the thought just came up. It was not intended.
They really have that aura, don't you think? With this realization, I figure that lace can be that versatile even if it doesn't look it. Lace will be eternal and it will never cease to exist in fashion.

Mia of the Teenage Beauty Blogger's interpretation of Chapter 4:
Lacy and Simple with a Red Hint!
I wanted something, simple but not too plain, so I mad sure there was a bit of lace. I wanted dark colors because if I put a bright red with it, it makes it look louder and brighter.

Marion Quitasol's interpretation of Chapter 4:
Lace All Over
The implication of the background reflects on my desire to sleep in a house with a view of the beach or on a sea shore. I have always dreamt of closing my eyes under the cluster of stars and waking up in the sound of the waves.
Apparently, from robe to chemise and thong, this is a collection of Jenny Packham design. In this set, I have focused on matching the Jenny Packham package with my preferred accessories. My idea of this set is to create a lascivious goddess style. I have intended to improvise the Lanvin petal pearl necklace accessory accentuating it as a head band matching it with the pink ring and a sage cuff.
