Aling Lucing: The Best Sisig in the North
Sunday, October 18, 2015
Before we reached Abe's Farm, we took a quick stop at Aling Lucing's for lunch. We heard and read that it's one of the must-try restaurants or eateries in Pampanga. Aling Lucing was the one who invented the popular sisig dish in the 1970s.

Because of this, she was dubbed as THE Sisig Queen and Angeles City was established as the Sisig capital of the Philippines. Her popular dish now has a variety of preparations including sisig ala pizzailo, pork combination, green mussels or tahong, mixed seafood, ostrich sisig, spicy python, frog sisig, Tokwa't Baboy, etc.

Of course, we tried her trademark, which is a unique blend of chopped pigs' cheek, liver, onions, vinegar and calamansi. What we liked about it is that it has a grilled or smoked taste that makes it different from the regular sisig recipe we have here in Manila. Plus, it's very affordable. Perfect if you are in a budget.

Now, I'm badly craving for one. That's all folks for today's quick post! :)
Love lots, xx
