As a rule of fashion, every girl deserves the perfect Little Black Dress. Whether you dress it up or dress it down, it is the classic 'must have' item in every woman's wardrobe, and a great rescue garment during those moments when you suddenly think you have 'nothing to wear!' BlackDressHQ.com was born following the need to bring gorgeous Little Black Dresses into one fabulous place.
Launched by Alisha Hermon in October 2011, the personal stylist noticed that the LBD was used to dress women of all ages, body shapes, styles and personalities.
Sticking to her roots she originally focused on bringing the edgy designers of New Zealand and Australia to the UK, previously difficult for customers to obtain. Brands like Cybele, Lonely Hearts and Ginger & Smart jumped onboard first, with a number of UK designers following soon after including Twenty8Twelve and Preen.

SS12 saw designers doing exclusive black colour ways for BlackDressHQ. Preen created the gorgeous Taylor dress available exclusively in black and almost the entire Hunter Dixon collection was also created in black exclusives. Brit based design duo Helen Clinch and Myra Nigris were the next to join with HEMYCA, a sophisticated and contemporary label coveted by Anna Wintour. This was followed by Malene Oddershede Bach range of strong colours, shapes and high focus on quality fabrics and construction.
There are now there are over 16 gorgeous International Designers stocked online at BlackDressHQ and with every LBD order each customer receives their dress in our gorgeous Little Black Box with signature BlackDressHQ ribbon.
