I actually find this book pretty cool than the previous one. The storyline was actually pretty common and realistic because of the events in the story which made it predictable. But to my surprise, it did creep me out. I guess it's due to the fact that my imagination is always “fired up” when I'm reading and I have a habit of putting myself in the shoes of the protagonist. This habit actually helps the reader understand the events more because you feel like you're also going through the protagonist's situation. I also want to mention how Jess's power evolved. It was impressive that's why I'm looking forward to the next book.

Anyway, as I've mentioned, the events were more intense in this book than the first two. Murder, kidnappings, and torture were all over the place, and it was up to Jess to solve it. It's riveting and I can't put it down.
