British author, JK Rowling was made aware by her remarkable story through a petition online. A group was formed to push a sole purpose: to help raise money for Cassidy and for her to meet the famous author. 

Through her magical ways, JK Rowling found a way to get in touch with Cassidy by sending her a letter from Dumbledore (which was written in purple ink), a wand, a Hogwarts acceptance letter, a school supply list, and an autographed third Harry Potter book.

I truly believe that what Cassidy did was a very brave thing to do and I absolutely admire her for that. This shows how incredibly strong she is for such a young age. I could also see why she turned to that quote at this time. Maybe she have found a friend in Harry like most of us, but their bond is more special. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Cassidy at this difficult time.

I salute also Queen JK for taking the time to acknowledge and show her support to Cassidy through these thoughtful tokens. The author truly have given a bit of light to this teenage girl's life and so are those people who started the internet campaign that led to this heartfelt gesture. Cheers to you all.
