Last March 06, bookworms, publishers and all the bibliophiles out there celebrated World Read Aloud Day. For sure, everyone felt like reading aloud whether alone in your rooms or annoying your siblings. I'm kidding. We feel like we are recording our own audiobooks and read every single word with emotions. It is actually an old habit of mine to read aloud but usually to myself. Aside from the fact that it is fun, but it also helps you learn the proper pronunciations, when to pause or stop, etc. I enjoy reading aloud and even acting as the character talking my changing my voice and even my accent. I especially love British novels like Harry Potter when reading aloud since I can practice the accent and mimic the characters' voices (or actors). Anyhow, since it is a pleasure to be enjoyed by myself, I recorded my voice while reading some parts of Emilie & the Hollow World's Chapter 1. It will be a treat and also a sneak peek. Imagine it as an excerpt. Since I am quite awkward and shy, it is not a video. So you get to enjoy or laugh at my voice. Excuse some long pauses and obvious errors I wasn't able to edit out, and also the robotic voice because I only use my phone to record it. Enjoy!
