Let Me Get Away

It was raining hard and really cold last Friday that is why I decided to wear pants and long sleeves for work. Plus my favorite wedges to give my outfit an extra oomph.

What I wore: jeans Diesel • top Terranova • black wedges Forever 21 • watch Claire's • blue ring and white earrings borrowed from my sister • scorpion connector ring Robinson's Place Manila

It's funny how people look at you when you were wearing heels out in the streets of Makati. I also rode the jeepney to work today. So it was really weird when people stare at you because of those heels when for us fashion enthusiasts, those are pretty normal.

While I was crossing the street, ignoring every stare I get from passersby, one of them had the guts to say out loud, "You already!" (Ikaw na! in Filipino) while giving me the head to toe look.

Honestly, I don't get it.

But anyhow, might as well ignore it.

I guess my shirt tells it all.

The mirror serves as a metaphor for the things that imprisoned me or hinders me from doing what I want and having what I want.

Then I will break free.

Haha. Anyway, let's get away from the bad vibes and embrace our inner peace.
