Currently not in the mood to read lately. I'm not sure if I just needed a break to get the hang of it again or I'm not just feeling the book I'm reading. Oh well, it will eventually dawn on me. So here's what I wore when I went out with my family to eat out and help my parents on what to wear to the wedding they attended last June or July.

The color scheme of this outfit reminded me of the highlighters I used on my handouts during college. It is bright but does not hurt the eyes. I can easily find the information I needed whenever I used them and I believe that I have also applied those perceptions on this look. It's a scene stealer and made to stand out.

Also, I'm still in a positive vibe and I will still share that glow with you guys. I'm making it a habit and contagious. It's not that hard. Just a different take on life. I won't keep you guys and I will just keep this post short.

Just Wanna Have Fun

What I'm wearing: stripe top bought in Bangkok • polka dot jacket vintage • shorts Canyon River Blues

I apologize for the lack of post for the past few days since I wasn't able to schedule some, experienced technical problems, and had a lot of family occasions to attend to. I'll be writing blog post bombs so watch out! Anyway, as it is evident on the colors and accessories I played with in this look, I think Cyndi Lauper's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is appropriate to use as the title of this post. If you are a reader, you know that I love watching TV series and one of my current favorites is The Carrie Diaries. I was in the mood to wear something 80s inspired since it is a big trend again nowadays and of course, the influence of the very young Carrie Bradshaw.

I used two dominant neon colors to keep it still organize and cohesive. Plus, it is so much fun to play with accessories and colors.

Another thing that I enjoyed while creating this outfit is the combination of stripes and polka dots. It was a trend that I even thought was impossible but it works. I was able to risk a lot in this look, from the color palettes to the prints.

I was also able to do a death-defying stunt and took photos near the roof. I even stood up on the ledge which was nauseating and nerve-racking for me since I have a fear of heights. I easily shake whenever I am in a high place. But you know what? I've read it somewhere, maybe a quote from a book, to do something you are scared to do everyday and surprise yourself of new capabilities. And, this is what I did that day. Feeling I am on top of the world, smiling and posing like a pro when I am really shaking inside. Haha.

I told myself to just smile and have fun while taking the photos since I want to really have fun which is the main theme of this look. In short: illuminate, whether in style or with your smile. (Just a tagline I created while writing this. Haha.)

I also goofed, dance and jumped around. Letting go of all the stress and just had fun.

Psychedelicious

This is too little too late but it's better than not posting it. Last July, my friend Kimmy invited us to attend Majolica Majorca's launch of their Psychedelicious line. It was the first cosmetic event have ever attended. If you are regular, you would know that I am still learning the magic of make-up though lipsticks and I have been acquainted for a long time now.

Psychedelicious was definitely an understatement. The colors and the design on the event was definitely the reflection of their new line. Fun, lush and sweet.

Look at these yummy treats. As one of the early birds, we were quite a bit shy to go and grab a bite but we eventually tried a few timidly.

Being an early bird has rewards, you know. We were eligible to have a free makeover and try out the new line! How cool is that? Oh and aside from that, we also did those listed above! So I bought Majolica Majorca's Lash and Brow Colorist because I need since I lack brows. It's actually effective and makes life easier because you can even out the color of your brows without a sweat.

After buying one of their product, I was able to get a freebie and that is the Majolica Majorca BE218 nail polish.

Here's Danna, Abi and I, trying our best to imitate the model's psychedelicious pose. We got these photos as souvenirs, too. Plus, we are also flaunting our very made-up faces.

I wore this outfit on St. Patrick's day and I feel like wearing green. Plus, the colors were perfect for Spring/Summer season. Excuse the background. I wasn't able to go out. I need to be on our booth most of the time.
