It's truly a dream come true to receive your favorite Korean beauty products at your doorstep. Thanks to Althea, every Filipina can happily discover the right products for their skin for an affordable price. Now that I'm addicted to skincare as well, they truly made it easier for us to shop. But what made them stand out from other e-commerce sites is that they also offer their limited edition and thematic Althea boxes which are specially curated by their glam squad. Surprisingly, I just found out that they just launched this feature last year. Way to go, Althea!

Finally back to complete this series! Okay! So if you're done breaking down those dry skin, it's time to dampen your skin so it can absorb a bit more moisture. The best way to do it is to use a toner.

A clean face doesn't mean it's smooth and clear. Double cleansing might remove all the dirt on your face but you still need to peel off the layer of dead skin cells. The key is to exfoliate once or twice a week if possible to help your skin absorb the rest of the products you'll apply.

The first product one should use when starting a 10 step skincare routine is an oil cleanser or a makeup remover. Washing your face with your go-to cleanser is not enough to remove all obstacles your skin have, from makeup, excess sebum, dirt to other dreadful impurities. Hence, the infamous "double cleansing". For those who are well-versed in the beauty scene, you sure don't need this lecture but for those, like me, who are late bloomers or constantly discovering the path to a beautiful skin, I got you!

A lot of you might be thinking, "Wow, that's a lot," "That's more than 10," "Can she maintain it," or "Will that even work?"

I lined up some lip balms on a table that one night I was bored and into taking photos of all things cute. The one on the left most is an EOS, the second one is a dupe from Japan under the Dodo line, a lip balm encased in this cute Panda cover, and another EOS.
Can you guess which is mine? :)
Anyway, for some reason, the last few days were too hot to handle. So make sure to hydrate, protect, moisturize your skin, and even your lips! Apply your favorite lip balm once in a while and say goodbye to dry, chappy lips. Pucker up and wear your favorite lipstick shade after. :)
That's it for today! :)

Christian Louboutin is at it again. After releasing a signature nail polish collection last year, we are bound to meet their new divine lipstick collection. To all the beauty junkies out there, time to save up for these beauties because a luxurious line like this will not be cheap. Starting at $90 a piece, it will really be a dream come true to have one.

When it comes to packaging, you got to give it to Christian Louboutin. I love how it's not plain like the usual lipstick covers. Most just use vibrant colors to describe the collection but with Louboutin, it's all about the textured craftsmanship--the nitty gritty details from the body to the cap. I love how the designs are inspired by everything from Babylonian architecture to Art Deco to Middle Eastern antiquities.

The Velvet Matte Collection
The Rouge Louboutin is definitely leading the pack here. I'm also eyeing the Bengali, Rococotte, Eton Moi, Survivita, Just Nothing, and Zoulou.

The Sheer Voile Collection
I love how each collection shows different personalities and each has that sophisticated edge that not all lipsticks have. I'm definitely attracted to Private Number, Escatin, Mexicatchy, You You, Rouge Louboutin, Petal Rose, Rose Du Désert, Loubiminette.

The Silky Satin Collection
Too many gorgeous shades to choose from. Plus, I love how subtle the shades are. It gives off a sexy, mysterious vibe, don't you think?
Each lipstick looks like a deadly weapon. Imagine a hot spy putting on Rouge Louboutin but it's actually a cover up. The lipstick is actually a weapon. I like how it tickles my imagination.
That's it for some Monday inspiration, or more like a motivation. Have a great day!

Today's shade of the day is MAC Fleur D'Coral. I got this from my friend, Nike of The ElectroMagnetChick! Yay! I'm excited to try it out today. It looks pale, creamy, and it sort of leans to the color peach. It has a warm undertone and it has a luminous finish. It's quite new to me since I opt to darker or brighter shades but there's no harm in trying out new stuff, right? :)
This post will be short and I'm wishing you all a great day, ahead! :)

Don't you just love to stay in your bed, cover yourself with a thick blanket, and watch your favorite show or even read a good book over a cup of hot choco? We can definitely feel the change of weather and temperature, and I love it. It's the perfect time to take out all those sweaters, jackets, and boots for a spin. Your dark lippies need to take a day out, too! Here are my the-cold-never-bothered-you-anyway essentials:
With days like these, I feel lazy put full-on makeup. Let your favorite dramatic lipstick shades and your eyebrow game do the talking. Use a face powder or foundation, and concealer, shape those eyebrows with K-Palette Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow Pencil in Natural Brown, and finish it off with Avon Tropical Paradise Ultra Color Lipstick in Toasted Rose, MAC Diva (one of my ultimate favorites), MAC Matte Lipstick in Fashion Revival, and MAC Frost Lipstick in Viva Glam Rihanna 2.
Then don't forget to add a veil of mystery to your eyes with Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara.
Lastly, have the best sleep you'll have in months with the Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Body Cream in Lavender Vanilla. It definitely relaxes you during your sleep so you can fight insomnia away easily. It's the best way to end your day!
What are your gloomy day essentials?
Love lots, xx
