A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

It has been a long and winding journey and I can't help but ask myself where to next? There will always be an inkling feeling of what ifs, regrets, and hope this road will lead you to your next destination. But I'm still eager to find out and discover what awaits me. I can't wait for future trips to enjoy, cities to explore, and adventures to share. Whatever it is, I'm ready to keep moving forward.

Current mood, current shoes.

I can really say that I sometimes have bolder choices when it comes to fashion and even my dad told me that I have a unique taste when it comes to shoes. I am not the type to ride the hype or if I do, I will always find my way to see an option that will stand out. Others would go for the Oreo pair or the Valentine one, but I went for the Jordan Spizike Big Kids. It's inspired by the iconic director of Spike Lee and recreated after the legendary line-up of Jordan III, IV, V, VI.

Lately, I've been swooning over sneakers and slip-ons. I think I'm in a phase where I will trade my heels and flats for it. But we'll see.

Here's one of my favorite charm bracelets to date! I acquired my first Ops! last year. It was the one of the few things I bought for myself in St. James Bazaar. Varying from a wide array of colorful bracelets, I was pretty torn on what design I would get. But I ended up buying a brown one with a camo-print heart. I also just discovered that they have other products aside from the bracelets. They're all so pretty and nice!

casual backpack • Charles & Keith

I've been looking for the perfect backpack all my life. For some reason, I am attracted to square-shaped ones. I feel like it's unique and spacious enough for my iPad or books. It reminds me of the little school girls in japan with their box-shaped bags on their backs, making their way to school. I saw this in my current favorite store, Charles & Keith and I was head over heels over it. I was giddy and excited like a kid to get it. It's available in Orange, too, and I was so tempted to get that one also. But you can never go wrong with black and it can last through all the ever-changing trends. Plus, it goes two ways: it can be a backpack or a handbag, whichever you prefer to use. Clearly, I am a happy girl. :)

White makes you appreciate the absence of things or the minimal details. Most of us were taught to think that it symbolizes defeat or innocence which are perceived as signs of weakness. But it is actually very solid and strong as it is an equal combination of ALL the colors of the visible light spectrum. It is also one of my current obsessions as of the moment. For my quick post today, I will be sharing my recent Supernatural finds in honor of the upcoming Season 10 premiere. I've been a fan of the series since forever and this is one of the shows I really look forward to. I have always been curious to watch this show since I was in high school and only had time to watch it after I graduated college. I found the chance to watch it when my brother and I found a CD lying around our house. We had a marathon from day 'til night because we just can't get enough of the plot and the characters. We were completely hooked! Oh plus, my favorite characters are Dean (no doubt about that), Lucifer, Crowley, Bobby, and Garth. That's quite a variation, don't you think?

Anyway, since my dad is a toy collector, he has been on a search to look for these three. We've raided toy store after toy store for the Chevy Impala until he luckily found one while he was randomly browsing through some shelves. While for the FunkoPOP Sam & Dean, I already told my dad to ask his friends for a pre-order and reserve it for me as soon as the exclusive release has been announced. Then I picked them up immediately as soon as it arrived. I am proud to say that the Winchester brothers are my first toy investments. So much love for the Winchesters and baby! I'm still hoping that they will release a Crowley toy so I can add it to my growing collection.

For today's quick post, I just want to share my recent purchase and something that I really wanted to do ever since. I remember last Christmas, it was part of my wish list for our party in the office. I was just hopeful but I knew I couldn't get it because it was not available during that time. But luckily, I found it in this small little new branch of Fully Booked in SM Megamall -- finally! For a brief introduction, the Q&A A Day is a journal which will cover five years of your thoughts. Think of Dumbledore's pensieve or a 365 day tweeting challenge if you are into social media. But of course, nothing beats the good old journal and the smell of a book. Anyway, you will be asked a question for each day and you have to answer it. Then eventually, you will be able to see the difference of your answers as the years go by. Timehop anyone? Well, it will be a new challenge for me because I need commitment, consistency, and discipline in order to finish this whole journal for five years. Though it is still exciting and I can't wait to see all my thoughts compiled in this diary!

I had a sudden obsession with ribbons when I went to Japan. I guess I was easily adapting to their かわいい (kawaii which means cute) culture. I wanted to buy all the bows I could find in all colors and sizes. But I have to consider which ones will look good on me and which ones will compliment my personality. ;)

I first encountered these hair accessories in Michelle Phan's video. These can be both used to tie your hair or to be worn as an accessory to match your outfit.

I love how you can buy extra puffs just in case you had a make-up emergency and the one you own broke on the spot.

My aunt, my sister and my mom are fans of this product. They said it does help to have a young, healthy and glowing skin. It's one of their must buys during our trip to Japan.

Metal Water Tumbler 

As one of my must haves, I bought a water container which I can use daily in the office and if I workout. Their metal water containers are very efficient when it comes to maintaining the hot or cold temperature of a beverage. Japan's technology never fails to amaze me. My aunt's tip whenever she goes to Japan is to buy things you can use for your home. If it works wonders, it's a good find and better if it has a cute design.
