Rebel Angels by Libba Bray

It was my first time to visit the Books for Less branch in SM Mall of Asia and I never knew that I could be lucky to have found this signed copy. I just accompanied my cousin, who at a young age is also a bookworm, as she browse through the books at the counter. As a hobby, I browsed shelves and read book spines to check out the covers and the blurbs. I took this and opened to the first page since it's one of the books I've been wanting to read ever since. And look what I saw!!!

My eyes widened in excitement and told my cousin what I found. She even pushed me to buy it because it was definitely a lucky and a rare find. So despite my depleting allowance, I bought it. #bookwormproblems

Jet Black and the Ninja Wind

Months ago, I joined a giveaway of this book in Shelf Awareness just to try if my luck. I just emailed the authors and told them I'm interested, my blog statistics and since it's a book in a Japanese setting, I mentioned that I majored in Japanese Studies back in college. Maybe that made the authors noticed me. LOL and they sent me the book as soon as it was published! Yay! I am so happy! It arrived last September and I was happy to find out that Tuttle Publishing has a branch here in Makati. How awesome is that?

But last week, another package arrived from Japan. I was so confused because I was waiting for a package from the UK and I wasn't notified about this one. Only to find out that Leza and Shogo sent me a hard bound copy, and they signed it too!! I was jumping and my smile was up to my ears because I just can't avoid showing my delight.

It's another addition to my growing collection of signed copies! Plus, I really like their signatures. :)

The Sixth by Avery Hays

A complimentary copy that was sent to me when I requested this book in Netgalley. At first, I can't believe it and I thought it will never arrive since I live in the Philippines. Publishers usually ship only in their designated countries and I've already accepted that. But this came and again, I was so happy. It felt like it was raining books in my house as the packages poured in.
